ACE-031

ACE-031 is a soluble form of the activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) extracellular domain fused to the Fc portion of human immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1). This molecular structure enables ACE-031 to bind to and sequester ligands that would otherwise activate the ActRIIB signaling pathway. Its approximate molecular weight is around 60,000 g/mol, consistent with its fusion protein nature. Historically, research into ActRIIB signaling has explored its role in regulating various biological processes. ACE-031 was developed as a research tool to investigate the effects of ActRIIB ligand sequestration.
